Meet Derek
Derek grew up in Forest City, where he graduated high school in 2010. In December of that year, he joined his mother, Kendra, at Dale’s Body Shop. Derek grew up watching his grandpa, Dale, and his mom working at the shop and helped them while in high school. Since joining the team, he’s worked with detailing, repair and painting, including water-born painting methods. Dale’s Body Shop gave him hands-on experience in the craft of auto-body work.
In 2026, Derek decided to re-open his grandpa’s shop, calling it “Dale’s Legacy Body Shop.” He is honored to continue serving the amazing community in Forest City, and is grateful for everything Kendra and Dale built. Derek puts his own touch on the shop while maintaining the quality, care, and integrity you’ve always known.
